Truly remarkable in every way......I can't believe you are now gone from sight.   My pick puppy, you were always the perfect pup in every way.  From your melting expression to your ever wagging tail.  You excelled in the show ring and had it not been for your heart condition, you would have easily finished your championship.  You were always a champion of my heart in every way.  The cardiologist said you would only have a life expectancy of just 8 years--wouldn't you know that was not your sentence.  You beat the odds and went far beyond.  Afraid that your condition would compromise your ability to handle the anesthesia, I chose not to have you spayed.  At 11 years of age, you needed that surgery.  Who would have thought you were going to live far beyond the expectation.  Your surgery went well and once again I had you for some more time.  Still loving the show ring, you went out did your thing, your tail still wagging.  After awhile though, you told me no more car rides, so you were retired from the ring with a wall full of beautiful rosettes and forever a champion of my heart.  Last fall the inevitable happened, and you were diagnosed with a nasal carcinoma.  The expectancy was just 3-6 months.  You fought a good fight against it, but grew tired.  Still, you made it 8 months out from the diagnosis.  I pains me to say goodbye to you my dear friend, but no regrets for a long life filled with happy memories.  Truly, I'll miss you, what a remarkable girl you were, in every way.  May you rest in peace. “Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.” ― Dr. Seuss
